The University:
Our Semester Program in Córdoba are in partnership with "Universidad Nacional de Córdoba", a top University in Argentina.
The university was founded in 1613 by the Jesuits and it became a public institution in the 19th century. It remains as one of the oldest but also among the best in Latin America.
The university has now a student population of more that 100.000 students coming for all of the provinces of Argentina and from abroad.
UNC's colonial buildings date from the 17th and 18th centuries and are located in the center of town. This historic complex still houses some university offices and has recently been declared a World Heritage Site by the United Nations.The majority of the university offices and classrooms are in the "Ciudad Universitaria" which is an lively and welcoming campus a short walk from downtown.
Your Spanish classes will be held in the same building as foreign language classes for Argentinean students, creating opportunities to make local friends and find a language partner.
Teaching Assistant Program:
We give our students the opportunity to have a broader cultural experience in Argentina by participating in our Elementary School Teaching Assisting Program. From 3 to 12 hours per week, you can assist in the classroom at a bilingual school in Buenos Aires. This is a great way to experience another side of Argentina life and educational system and make your stay in our country more meaningful.
