GENERAL INFORMATION - SPANISH COURSES
Our Spanish courses are specially designed for foreign students, covering all aspects of learning a new language (speaking, listening, writing and reading skills). Four 55-minute classes are held every day from Monday to Friday and students can decide the length of their course.
Our flexibility, enthusiasm and communication-orientated classes ensure that you will be totally immersed in the Argentine life, learning the language more efficiently.
Levels - Placement test
Spanish Courses are divided into six levels: Basic (2), Intermediate (2) and Advanced (2) depending on your knowledge of Spanish. You will be given a placement test on your first day to evaluate your level, identify your individual needs and assign you to the corresponding class.
Furthermore, students may take private, personalized classes (one on one instruction).
Length of the Spanish Course
Classes are held Monday to Friday and students are free to choose the length of their Spanish course. A minimum of 1 week is required for group classes. There are classes every day, for a period of four hours, each lesson lasting 55 minutes.
Class Size
The average size of a class is 3, never exceeding more than 7 students per class. Spanish courses groups are organized according to the student's level of Spanish.
Teachers
All our teachers are native Spanish speakers from Argentina, trained and experienced in teaching Spanish to foreigners. They have teaching degrees and are culturally sensitive. Having traveled to different countries, they are able to interact successfully with the students and offer assistance when needed.
Activities
There are plenty of activities organized by Andina Spanish School in which students can take part in: gatherings at cafés, singing and dancing, visits to well-known opera concerts, peñas, guided visits to the main cultural and historic landmarks in Mendoza , guided visits to the most popular football clubs and stadiums as well as dancing at the coolest discos and folk shows.
Upon arrival, there is a welcome brunch and a city tour to introduce the students to the main local highlights, and there are plenty of activities organized at and outside the school.
Students' favorite outdoor activities are visiting the wineries, visiting the national parks or participating in water sports, such as fishing or water-skiing. For those who love adventure, the Andes Mountains are the perfect scenery for rafting and kayaking. You can also find some of the best and largest International ski resorts with state-of-the-art facilities to practice alpine sledge, skiing and snowboarding.
