Here you can take a ferry to school in the mornings. More than that, you get the beautiful sunrise of the the Harbour. And I assure you that this is as good as having a nice hot croissant on the Champs Elysees.
The students come from all four corners of the globe. Getting off the ferry at nights to go home, I had the impression that I had just completed a trip around the world in a day!
Culture
Learning a language involves understanding culture. If you enjoy and understand the culture in which you study you are more likely to learn English quickly. For this reason, excursions are part of the School program:
• Afternoon excursions (Opera House, the Historic Rocks, excursions relating to your program of study)
• School celebrations (international food day, picnic on the beach, coach to a typical Australian Farm)
• Weekend excursions (skiing, boating, wine tasting in the Hunter Valley)
• Sporting activities - optional - on Friday afternoons
• Tuesday afternoon teacher and student after-school meeting at the Pub
• Evening events (discos, harbour cruises, karaoke)
