Our Toronto school has attracted a truly international student body. Learning English is the priority here and our ‘English Only’ policy means a very concentrated educational experience.
The school is in a modern building with air-conditioning, free Internet access and all the amenities. It is located on the corner of Yonge and Bloor Street, the intersection of the city’s two main subway lines. The Centre Linguista Intensive English Course is an excellent opportunity for you to improve your English language skills. The focus is on stimulating and fun conversation classes and grammar classes that will quickly improve the way you speak and write.
Course Start
* You may start your course on any Monday (except the week of Christmas).
* Testing is done on your first day as well as an orientation of the school and local area.
Course Length
* Average of 4 weeks per level
* When planning your stay, calculate an average of 4 weeks to complete each level (it is possible to come just for 1, 2 or 3 weeks if there is not sufficient time for the 4 week program).
Number of Hours
* 30 lessons of 45 minutes each per week.
Class Size
* No minimum size; maximum of 12 students
Schedule
* The ESL intensive course is based on 30 lessons of 45 minutes each per week, from Monday to Friday and with no interruptions throughout the year (except the week of Christmas).

Method
* We use a communicative approach that focuses on students speaking the language within context from day 1.
* All four skills (reading, writing, listening, speaking) are taught, with 50% of class time devoted to conversation.
* The conversation class will enable you to speak with confidence in actual business, personal and academic situations.
* The grammar component will help you work on structural weaknesses such as correct verb usage, word order, etc. and improve reading and writing skills.
* Our method allows you to progress at your own speed in mastering the grammar and conversational elements of the language.
