The International Celtic School of Languages is the ideal location for you to learn English in the perfect environment on the West coast of Ireland. Our School is in the town of Newcastlewest, a town of rich heritage and quaint beauty, surrounded by magnificent countryside. English Courses
General English: 20 classes per week, totalling 15 hours tuition
We have designed an interactive programme to improve English language skills. At the International Celtic School of Languages we focus on the following:
* Listening, Speaking, Pronunciation, Reading and Writing.
* The lessons aim to develop a practical knowledge of grammatical structures, improve vocabulary and increase communication skills.
General English Plus: 30 classes per week, totalling 22 hours tuition
At the conclusion of morning classes students who have chosen the thirty-class week will attend two additional courses each day. Afternoon courses offer students a unique chance to focus and strengthen English language skills in a variety of areas. These areas include:
* Conversation
* Formal writing
*Literature or history.
Activity Programme: Optional Extra
(This programme is available to students over 18's)
*One full day excursion per week where students depart from the school at 8.30 in our coaches and visit such places as The Cliffs of Moher, Dingle Peninsula, Cork city, Cobh, Galway city, The Ring of Kerry, and other famous Irish landmarks.
*Two evening programmes per week where students depart from the school at 19.30 and participate in evening activities such as Irish Traditional Music, Concerts, Racing courses among others.
All the entrance tickets and transport charges are included in the programme.
