Our School
The Instituto Dante Aligheri of Rimini organizes study holidays for students of all ages and nationalities who would like to learn Italian.
The school is located in Rimini, on the Adriatic coast, in the region of Emilia Romagna. Rimini is famous not only for its historical traditions dating back to the Roman period, but also for its numerous possibilities for leisure and recreational activities it offers and its renowned hospitality and “joie de vivre”.
Our Services
The 'Istituto Dante Alighieri of Rimini', founded in 1923, has been one of the first to bring fourth the diffusion of the Italian language and culture in Italy and the world. The didactic methodology adopted by the 'Istituto Dante Alighieri of Rimini' follows that of the 'Istituto Dante Alighier of Riminii' and has been able to do so thanks to a considerable amount of experience in teaching Italian to foreigners: by the use of specific ways of teachings (communicative method) and by communication. The student is constantly encouraged to reflect on the linguistic and grammatical mechanisms, which as a result favor a more rapid learning process. At the end of every course this is affirmed by a final exam, which allows one to obtain a Certificate of Study, issued by the 'Istituto Dante Alighieri'.
Courses and levels
All of the courses are instructed by qualified native speaking teachers. The didactic material and the various worksheets for specific language are supplied by the school. The courses are held from Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 13:00 and from 14:00 to 18:00. Groups are formed with a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 6 students. The prices of the course are per person. In the case that the minimum number of participants is not met for class course the school reserves the right to decrease the number of hours of the course.
The lessons consist of 55 minutes. We have annual and semester courses, at your request.
INDIVIDUAL COURSE x 1 STUDENT
This course allows the student to learn Italian based on their linguistic and professional needs. Scheduling, including times and days as well as the duration of the course are completely flexible.
INDIVIDUAL COURSE x 2 STUDENTS
This course has the advantage of the full attention of a teacher with the two students, who have decided to start a course together and are of the same level.
Cultural and recreational program
Rimini and the Adriatic coast, famous for the beaches, night life, the numerous posibilities for activities and also for the cultural initiatives and historical sites dotted around the territory, are particularly well organized and well equipped organised and well-equipped to welcome numerous foreign and Italian tourists, and therefore offer the student the possibility to take advantage after studying of all the advantages of the region’s tourist attractions.

Guided tour of the city
Our school will be delighted to help you discover the hidden treasures of Rimini by taking a “walk in the past” which will allow you to visit the city’s monuments, witnesses to different eras: the Bridge of Tiberius, the Arc of Augustus, the Roman Amphitheatre, the Malatestiano Temple, the Castel Sismondo, the Communal Assembly Building (Palazzo dell’Arengo) and the Podestà’s Palace, the Pigna Fountain and the City Museum. Throughout the year important ethnographic, photographic and art exhibitions are held in the historical biuldings such as the Communal Assembly Building, the City Museum and the Dinz rialto Museum of non european cultures.
