Welcome to The One World Language Centre
We offer courses in European languages like English, Spanish, French and Italian as a foreign language and in less common languages like Chinese, Japanese, Arabic and Russian.
We also organise courses for children and teenagers. We offer a professional, friendly atmosphere and focus on your individual needs to help you learn as quickly as possible.
We also have contact with language schools and businesses around the world and we offer free advice regarding any such trips abroad even if you are not a student.
LANGUAGE COURSES
COURSES FOR ADULTS
Before starting, every student takes a written and oral test to find his/her level. This test is free and there is no obligation to do a course afterwards.
After this the student talks to the course director to find the right option for him/her - group lessons or individual lessons, intensive course or a standard course.
You will talk about what exactly you need, why you are studying the language and where you want to get to. There are numerous options and it is not always necessary to do an 8 month-long course.
If you know that you have to have a level of knowledge, for example, of level B2 according to the Common European Framework of reference for Languages, come to us and do a test, after which we will be able to tell you how long and how many lessons you need to reach that level.
Our qualified, experienced teachers conduct lessons using a communicative method of teaching in which lessons are built around communication and students talk from day one.
COURSES FOR CHILDREN
The younger a child is when he/she starts to learn a language the easier and more natural it is. We teach children using games and songs to make the lessons enjoyable and productive.
Children's courses take place once a week.
ITALIAN COURSES
There are various options for those wishing to study Italian as a foreign language. All classes are with teachers experienced in teaching Italian as a foreign language and classes are all built around conversation.
We offer preparation courses for all levels for the CILS (Certification of Italian as a Foreign Language) exam. As with all our courses you can do an intensive preparation course or a year-long course.
For those of you who are staying here for a long period of time we recommend our courses which take place twice a week 1.5 hours a time.
As with all of our languages courses, our Italian courses are based on communicative method of teaching.
INTENSIVE COURSES
If you are coming to Sardinia for a short period why not do an intensive course? We offer courses of 3 hours a day from Monday to Friday in the morning or afternoon for a minimum of 1 week.
PRIVATE LESSONS
If you prefer to be more independent why not do private lessons?
If you have a company in Sardinia and would like to learn Italian or would like your staff to learn Italian, look at our business courses option.
LIVE WITH YOUR TEACHER
If you need to learn a language fast, there is no better way than to live with your teacher. In this way, you do lessons together and then spend time together as the teacher goes about his/her everyday activities.
