Villa Dante School
Learn Italian in Southern Italy and discover Tropea "the pearl of Southern Italy"... the Eolie Islands, part of the archipelago which also includes the volcanic island of Stromboli, as well as the islands where, according to ancient legend, Odysseus found the Sirens. These particular islands can be seen from Tropea's beach! We can organize a boat tour of the islands, as well as connections to Malta. Capo Vaticano, Calabria, Sicily and Eolie Islands.
Villa Dante offers a numerous variety of personal learning materials for your advantage. A variety of films on video, books (classic literature, local history, comic books…), magazines, newspapers, listening tapes, and internet access are available in the library. You will be encouraged to study in your free time and will find yourself practicing in everyday situations. COURSES
# (C1) Group Basic Italian Language Course:
10 lessons per week. Max 6 students. Content: Grammar and conversation.
# (C2) Group Intensive Italian Language Course:
20 lessons per week. Max 6 students. Content: Grammar, conversation on topical subjects*, reading and writing, cinema Italiano.
# (C3) Combined Italian Language Course:
20 lessons in group with max 6 students + 6 individual one-to-one lessons per week. Content: Grammar, conversation on topical subjects*, reading and writing, cinema Italiano.
# (C4) Individual One-to-one Italian Language Course:
10 individual one-to-one lessons per week. Content: Grammar, conversation on topical subjects*, reading and writing.
# (C5) Individual One-to-one Italian Language Course:
20 individual one-to-one lessons per week. Content: Grammar, conversation on topical subjects*, reading and writing, cinema Italiano, literature.
Accomodations
Villa Dante School offers 3 types of accommodations in shared and private apartments, normal or suite. All within short walking distance of the school and beach. All apartments have a kitchen, living space, bath and balcony, or terrace. Single and double rooms available in shared apartment. Should you desire to stay in a hotel, we can help you arrange that too.
All apartments are available per weeks, Saturday to Saturday, or Sunday to Sunday.
