THE SCHOOL
Welcome to TARONJA Spanish Language School , a brand new different way of learning Spanish in Spain dynamically. Our Spanish for Foreigners School has been created by Vulture Magazine, the trendiest spanish university publication in the County Of Valencia , a magazine which supports young artists, as well as promotes all kinds of university events such as parties, concerts, etc.
Taronja School offers a new perspective to learning Spanish , just as Vulture Magazine does to the world of university publications. In our Spanish School we offer you a friendly and attractive atmosphere with a different learning method. We truly try to combine the teaching of the spanish language courses with our culture and customs. We want you to speak spanish like a real spaniard having fun at the same time, and we do all this right from the heart of the amazing city of Valencia .
COURSES
Intensive
20/hours a week from monday to friday morning or evening schedule (only in high seasons). Therefore, our international students will learn spanish for almost four hours a day.
Super-Intensive
30/hours a week from monday to friday during mornings and afternoons. Therefore, our international students will learn spanish for almost six hours a day, a big effort and a big reward!
Private
We offer all kind of spanish private lessons , such as the 10 or 20 hours a week private courses , and made-to-measure courses. You can also learn Spanish by combining private lessons with one of our intensive or superintensive courses. Duration of the classes is 50 minutes. Maximum number of students per class is 1. This course includes a free Spanish cooking lessons every Tuesday and a free Spanish culture lesson every Thursday.
Dele Course
We offer a special 20 hours a week course to prepare any level of the D.E.L.E exam. This course lasts for 4 weeks. The D.E.L.E. certificate (Certificate of Spanish as a Foreign Language) was created in 1988 and it's the only Spanish official certificate valid abroad.
Teachers
In TARONJA Spanish School we have an specially efficient staff for the teaching of the Spanish language. We have looked for a particular profile of a teacher who is able to relate with the international students , but also has the necessary pedagogic training and experience for teaching Spanish .
All teachers in TARONJA Spanish School have a degree in Spanish Philology , which means that they have a perfect knowledge of the Spanish language and the Spanish literature . They have also taken courses at the Instituto Cervantes on "Teaching Spanish as a foreign language ". We can assure you that you will not find a better Spanish learning environment.
Levels
We have 4 different levels in TARONJA Spanish School and in all four we teach our international students to develop fluency in speaking Spanish and to fine-tune their comprenhension of the Spanish language . These levels of learning follow the Instituto Cervantes guidelines (and its 4 traditional levels) in combination with the "Common European Framework of Reference for Languages" traditional 6 levels which are:
1. Initial (Elementary A1 + Basic A2)
2. Intermediate (B1)
3. Advanced (B2)
4. Superior (C1+C2)
On the first day of class, our students will do a Spanish level test in order to place them in to their correct group. A level change will only be possible if the student has made an adequate progress, or if he/she has progressed faster than the rest of the group.
ACCOMMODATION
Shared Apartment:
TARONJA Spanish School has selected a number of apartments that can be shared by our international students . They are all quite near to the city centre, well preserved and fully equipped. These apartments are usually shared by foreign students . You will be able to choose between single and double rooms, as long as there are vacancies. All apartments selected by TARONJA Spanish Language School have a fully equipped kitchen (fridge, washing machine) a living room with TV and a bathroom. The apartments are comfortable and situated near the city center. Apartments must be vacated by Saturday at 12:00 am, and will be ready for accommodation again on Sunday at 18:00 pm.
