We promote the Arabic courses in Damascus (Damascus University, Mezzeh Institute) or the Islamic institutes. There are very good institutes which offer programs over several years. Programs are intensive and loaded. All courses are in ARABIC. The students will learn and improve their classical Arabic, writing, reading, conversation, very quickly while they study many Islamic subjects: Quran, Tajwid, Fiqh, Hadith, Sira, Tafsir, Sahabas, Grammar
Our Accommodation
Don't worry for the accommodation. It is not possible to find an accommodation before arrival. You have to see by yourself, compare, choose and decide. We cannot impose you a flat, that might not suit you.
You have to know that the accommodation standards are not at the western level, but we can find something suitable.
Accommodation search is part of our package. It is not easy to find everything quickly (university, registration office, person in charge), private teacher, the accommodation (state agencies, contract), and move by yourself at the beginning. We help the students as much as we can because when they see that you are foreigner, they increase the price. We help to negotiate to have the best price.
Private tuitions
Private courses can be offered to students. We have a team of professional teachers (some of them speak very good English (all levels), French or Spanish (Beginners & Intermediates), just in case of need in order to explain some difficult points in the student's language). We have a strict policy of only speaking Arabic with our students (as soon as they have a minimum level), not their mother tongues and make meetings, visits, situations, language exchanges in order the student keeps on practicing.
Firstly, the student has to study in a official institute and complete his studies with private classes, except if he comes for a short period of time, in this case we always recommend private courses.
Arabesk offers different kinds of private courses:
General private tuitions for Arabic Language Learning (following a book / method, exercises, conversation, writing)
Specific private courses : in Translation (Arabic - French, Arabic - Spanish, Arabic – English and English - Arabic), Language review (grammar and Sarf basis), Medias, Vocabulary enrichment, Conversation, Writing / Expression (Ta'abir), reading skills (and exceptionally, Syrian Spoken Dialect).
