Sana’a Institute For The Arabic Language offers a well-structured Arabic language program in Standard Arabic and Yemeni Colloquial dialect, as well as courses in Yemeni culture. It is a program that has been perfected through more than six years of the Institute’s operation.
The Institute makes a serious effort to employ dynamic teachers who are specialized in the various facets of the Arabic language. All students enrolled at our Institute will study the basic components essential to mastering any language: reading, writing and speaking.
COURSES
SIAL has developed one of the most practical and successful curricula in teaching Arabic as a foreign language. It is a curriculum that has been filtered and perfected through more than six years of the Institute’s operation.
SIAL offers courses in Modern Standard Arabic, Yemeni Colloquial Arabic, Classical Qur’anic Arabic, Arabic Calligraphy, Islamic Studies, as well as a host of other courses tailored to meet students’ needs and interests. These include courses in medical, political and media Arabic, as well as courses in Yemeni culture.
HOUSING
Housing for single students is available for those who desire to live within a five-minute walk from the Institute. These student houses are located in the heart of the Old City, where students can enjoy the beautiful ancient style of architecture. The location gives students the opportunity to speak with and live among the Yemeni people.
Our housing facilities are well furnished. Each room contains a bed, pillows, blankets, shelves for clothing, a desk, lamps, curtains, and carpeting. Bathrooms with hot water, well-equipped kitchens, and washing machines are also available.
