ABCE Language School Inc.

ABCE Language School Inc. was founded in 1995 by Moe Chaouni. Mr. Chaouni is a highly experienced language teacher and evaluator with many years of experience teaching and testing adults. ABCE Language School Inc. is officially accredited by the Federal Government of Canada. We are dedicated to providing an optimum learning environment, ensuring students receive personalized, quality instruction in a friendly and enriching atmosphere, and develop speaking and listening confidence

We offer spacious, comfortable, modern classrooms with a well-equipped lunchroom facility. In addition, we offer a computer/language laboratory for independent computer-aided instruction, and listening, reading and writing practice. Students can also access E-mail and Internet.

School Location

ABCE Language School Inc. is located in the heart of downtown Ottawa, between Metcalfe and O'Connor streets, at the corner of Slater and Metcalfe. It is within very short walking distance of a multitude of things to see and do: Parliament Hill, the Rideau Canal (in winter, the world's longest ice-skating rink), museums, libraries, hundreds of shops, restaurants and cafés and more. You will be surrounded by all the amenities of this cosmopolitan, clean and beautiful, yet safe city, and benefit from its proximity to so many other places.

Faculty

All of our teachers are highly qualified professionals dedicated to providing quality instruction in a positive and stimulating environment. Each teacher has a native command of the language being taught, and each teacher has at least one university degree in English, French, Education, Linguistics, Literature or Translation. All of our teachers are experienced in Second Language Training, and have received training from ABCE Language School Inc. in the pedagogical methodologies of second language instruction. Many teachers speak one or more foreign languages, (including the director of the school and support staff).
