Active English was founded in 1997, and is located in the picturesque village of Lucan on the outskirts of Dublin. A family-run school, Active English welcomes students of all ages and nationalities, and provides a comfortable and flexible environment for learning, where each student receives personal attention and care. For students not from the area, accommodation can be arranged with one of our hospitable local families or help given to find self-catering facilities. Our teachers are all highly qualified and experienced and Active English is Recognised by the Department of Education and Science for the Teaching of English as a Foreign Language.
