Our School

We are a small school willing to help all of you to learn more Spanish. We know learning a foreign language can be difficult, so we try to create an environment that is enjoyable and stimulating. All the teachers are always willing to have you as a new student and also as a new friend. The classes never have more than five students since we have twelve teachers ready to work with you.

We are located 6 blocks away from the main square in town, in a nice old building with a courtyard in the middle, surrounded by plants and flowers. Many of the students enjoy having their classes at the patio and some in the classrooms.

Our teachers are university-trained and are native speakers of Spanish. Each has a wide experience teaching Spanish at all levels, and they also understand how hard you try to learn, that´s why they will be helping you through the process. Patience is a quality our teachers have with all the students. Our staff consists of twelve teachers, this helps us to offer different levels for our students.

Courses: Through the years we have learned that High schools and Universities from all over the world who have been at our institute, have special needs in order to get credits for their courses. We are always willing to adjust our program to your specific needs and also to involve students with the culture.

We invite all of you and also High schools and Universities from all over the world, to join our courses.

Spanish level: We know that each student has a specific Spanish level, for this reason we have two evaluation methods. The first one is completing a form to know which topics you have or have not learned. The second one: after you have completed the form, we place you in a class to give you the opportunity to verify if you are at the right Spanish level.

If the class is either difficult or easy for you, we´ll be very happy to place you in a different class.

Accommodaion:
Living with families, who have been carefully screened, will assist students with language learning and cultural assimilation. For those who prefer not to live with a family, hotels and apartments are available for an additional fee.

* Black pottery: San Bartolo Coyotepec
* Green and terracota pottery: Atzompa
* Alebrijes (brightly painted wooden animals): Arrazola and San Martin Tilcajete
* Wool weavings: Teotitlan del Valle y Santa Ana del Valle
* The 2000 year old Tule tree and its 52.58 mts. diameter: Santa Maria del Tule
* Mezcal distillery (regional drink made from the Maguey plant)
* Ex-convents: Tlacochahuaya, Cuilapan de Guerrero y Santo Domingo de Guzman
