Centro Koiné

Koinè is a special kind of school. In fact, it was set up in 1980 as an association of teachers, all with personal and professional experience in the area of teaching Italian as a foreign language. Since these teachers were dissatisfied with their experiences, they decided to create a new type of organization which would differ from other private schools in its style of working and teaching methods. Courses The Koinè Center offers Italian courses of different lengths and levels, using assorted teaching methods to satisfy a variety of students' needs. Language and culture are taught in some l of Italy's most scenic, historic loca tions . At the end of the course, each student will receive, on request a certificate of attendance stating the length of the course and the level of his/her ability in the language. - Italian Language and Culture - Combined Intensive Course - Individual intensive lessons - Tutor course - Bread, wine and language - Painting and drawing courses in Florence - Photography Workshop - Courses for teachers of Italian - Language, Art & Archaeology - Language, Nature & Sports - Learn Italian While Sailing - CILS Examination courses - Gold Silver and Language Accommodation The Koinè Centre offers a free of charge accommodation booking service for the duration of the language course. When you fill in our registration form, please choose the accommodation you prefer. Seven days before the starting date of your course, we'll send you all the information you need about your accommodation Homestay Single and double rooms with shower or bathroom and linen service are available. Breakfast, half board, and kitchen facilities are optional . Rooms are rented from families, single persons, and students in the city centre. Single participants who request accommodations in a double room will be placed with other students. Hotels Single and double rooms in hotels recommended by the Koinè Center.
