The School The school is located in a colonial building only one block from the main square, the Plaza de las Armas. The school has 25 classrooms of different sizes, the smaller ones being used for individual classes, a very spacious meeting room and a sunny terrace. The courses All standard programs include four hours of either private or group instruction per day, two hours of grammar and two hours of conversation. The teachers co-ordinate the program to ensure that the grammar themes are further developed in the coversation classes. The conversation teachers are rotated weekly in order to give students the maximum exposure of varities of spoken Spanish. Timetable Classes take place from Monday to Friday, except for official holidays. Classes missed due to official holidays will not be made up. All classes are 110 minutes in duration and are programmed between the hours of 8:10 am and 8:00 pm. Students can give their preference for certain hours. Teachers All teachers are native speakers and receive ongoing teacher training during their employment. The teachers are committed to giving students the richest possible expeience of Peruvian culture and customs and have profiency in at least one foreign language, either English, German or French. Accommodations You can choose between three different options of accommodation within the city of Cuzco. Local guest families (two categories: standard and plus) or in a student house. The Guest Family Plus package offers students a slightly higher level of comfort, in a larger house with a courtyard or garden, a more spacious room, and food that is adapted to the students' desires. Guest families provide three meals a day. The Student House, which is located in the same building as the school, has rooms with shared toilets, a big terrace and a common kitchen/living room. This option includes breakfast. Activities and Excursions The school includes a dynamic, interesting and fun leisure program that is complementary to the process of learning the Spanish learning. All activities are directed towards socialising in a learning environment and increasing the student's knowledge of Peruvian Culture. For example: Cultural Workshops, Peruvian Music, Cooking, Dance and all kind of options for excursion, trips and hikes at good prices.
