The Exmouth Learning Centre (formerly The Exmouth Language Centre) is a small, friendly school, specialising in a unique English language and cultural programme for adults. Our aim is to enhance your English language skills while you enjoy a taste of life in the South West of England. What does a two-week English Language and Cultural Course include? * 15 or 20 hours English as a Foreign Language tuition per week. Small groups (max: 5 students) or 1-to-1 only. * Welcome information pack. * Course materials, vocabulary book and loan of course book. * End of course certificate. The Study Programme * All our courses are designed to help you improve your English language skills, through a variety of authentic situations, both in and outside the classroom. * Classes are in small groups (max: 5 students) or on a 1-to-1 basis. * Group tuition is provided at 3 levels (pre-intermediate, intermediate and upper-intermediate) during the spring and summer terms. 1-to-1 tuition is provided at all levels during the spring, summer and autumn terms. * Lessons include social English, grammar and vocabulary building activities, as well as general conversation, business English and other options. Homework and follow-up exercises are provided on request. * Modern teaching methods and materials are used, with emphasis on effective communication in everyday situations, as well as grammatical accuracy. Accommodation * To fully immerse yourself in the English language and way of life, we suggest that you stay with one of our recommended host families. This is an inexpensive option (£85 per week), which includes a single room, breakfast and evening meal each day. * The price of host family accommodation is based on a one-week (7 nights) stay from Saturday to Saturday. * Quality hotel or B&B accommodation can also be arranged for you, if preferred.
