Our classes are small (4-6 people). Each student has the opportunity to speak, listen, and practice in a class atmosphere that is fun and relaxed.

Our communicative learning approach provides a balance of grammar and active use of the language. To maximize your learning experience, classes are almost exclusively conducted in Italian, but always with the greatest attention to students' comprehension.

We offer different courses for beginners and more advanced speakers.

Italian for Beginners

In this class you will acquire basic vocabulary and idiomatic expressions. The grammar includes the study of pronunciation, the present tense, prepositions, common irregular verbs, numbers, and an introduction to possessive adjectives. You will learn to introduce yourself, describe people and things, and to carry on a simple conversation on a variety of topics.

Italian for Travelers

This class develops basic communications skills in a variety of common travel situations while also keeping in mind social and cultural nuances. It is conceived for those who need to express themselves in Italian on a short-term basis and cannot commit to a more time-consuming study of the language. It presents and teaches authentic Italian speaking patterns, providing enough knowledge to feel comfortable once in Italy. Enhance your travel experience and increase your appreciation of Italian surroundings.

A private program is a custom class, tailored to your specific goals. It is based on your interests and proficiency, whether you are a beginner or a more advanced speaker of Italian.
