Accommodation:

1. Homestay
Homestay is where you have a room in a house of a typical New Zealand family. The homestay family is your New Zealand family. You eat meals and share the house the same as the other family members.

2. Shared House (Flatting)
It's like an appartment that you share with others of any nationality. You have your own room but must pay all the costs such as telephone, power and gas, although some furniture is provided. You usually cook your own meals and buy your own food.

3. Other options
If you would like to organise your own accommodation there are plenty of other options available to you in both Christchurch and Methven. You can stay in a hostel, hotel, flat or with friends and family. For students who want to stay less than 8 weeks we can arrange accommodation in a student hostel.
