POINT3 Language Center

Welcome to POINT3 Language Center. At POINT3, our teachers and administrative staff are qualified and dedicated to making this an ideal learning environment. Inside and out of class, everyone is ready to assist the students in any way possible to help make Montr§ªal and POINT3 feel like home.

Our school
POINT3 Language Center first opened its doors here in Montreal in 1996 and has been offering quality language courses in the Old Montreal area since. But POINT3's true origins began in 1992 when 14 members of POINT3 conducted intensive English programs in Ukraine. POINT3 has always maintained that the "live and learn" experience is a great way to learn languages, so we brought a little piece of Canada to Ukrainian students in and around the Lviv area and the Carpatian Mountains. This experience propulsed POINT3 into offering the language experience to international and local students in four different languages here in Montreal. These languages are: English, French, Japanese and Spanish.

Intensive English Program

The English Intensive classes are geared towards improving your language level by acknowledging your strengths and focusing on your weaker areas. POINT3's English classes are arranged into three distinct classes that focus on accuracy, comprehension, and fluency.

Intensive French

POINT3's Intensive French Program follows a 22-hour a week work schedule. It focuses on developing conversational skills, as well as the other important language skills (reading, writing, and listening).

Our program also includes a weekly two-hour practical language outing, which allows students to discover many interesting aspects of the Qu¨¦becois and French cultures. These outings include trips to museums, historical sites, markets, caf¨¦s, and more. While on the outings, students are encouraged to make contact with local people and use their skills in real-life situations. Each outing is prepared in class beforehand with a follow-up activity afterwards to reinforce newly learned language. With each lesson, vocabulary increases and grammar improves to build the students' fundamental language skills. As their language ability increases, the scope of the students' study broadens to include topics such as business, literature, culture, media, and more.
