Programs and teaching staff. The Russian Language Club offers a wide option of highly effective and interesting courses, ranging in duration and content. They will help you find the proper programs to study Russian. Our educational programs are collaborated jointly with the leading specialists at Pushkin State Institute of Russian Language and Literature. Pushkin State Institute has been the main educational center in teaching foreign students Russian with the most modern training technologies for more than 30 years. The goal of the Russian Language Club is to teach Russian speech in the shortest time, reading, listening comprehension, and Russian literature appreciation which will include a better knowledge of Russia as a whole. The educational process in the Russian Language Club is built with up-to-date training aids, sound and video systems, and multimedia materials. Accommodations. At present the Russian Language Club offers you two main types of accommodations: 1. The accommodation in comfortable single or double rooms of a holiday hotel (boarding-house), situated in the forest picturesque place, on the bank of a big reservoir (15 kilometers away from Moscow), with developed infrastructure and service, including complex security, rooms service, gymnasium, swimming-pool and sauna, tennis-court, bar. There is a yacht club next to the holiday hotel. The rooms are equipped with upholstered furniture, a refrigerator and a bathroom. In the holiday hotel, all guests will get four meals a day. .Our cooks are highly skilled professionals and they will be glad to acquaint you with Russian cuisine. 2. The accommodations in the comfortable Moscow apartments, rent will depend on their location. For those, who choose the course with training at the institute, we offer apartments. All the apartments being offered have modern furniture and necessary equipment such as telephone, TV-set, and refrigerator. According to your wishes the administrators of the Russian Languages Club can select an apartment for rent in any district of Moscow. Excursions and journeys. The Russian Languages Club offers extensive excursions and tourist programs through Russia. The excursions program includes: interesting bus trips of Moscow with a professional guide-interpreter, museums, cloisters, art exhibitions, museums of the Moscow Kremlin, (including the Armory and the Diamond Fund), the Kolomenskoye Museum Estate (the residence of Russian Tsars and the national park), one-day trip to the town of Sergiyev Posad (the center of Russian orthodoxy), tour of the Moscow Metro, a boat trip on the Moskva River (by motor ship, in the summer), a visits of the Bolshoi Theatre and the Moscow Circus. Nowadays Moscow is a rapidly developing city with a fine architecture, with many theatres, concerts halls, sports facilities, youth clubs, internet-cafes, supermarkets, restaurants, movie-house, beautiful national parks and other places of rest and entertainment. Moscow will make an indelible impression on you and it will leave you with plenty of pleasant memories. The Russian Language Club is always ready to give you full assistance, support and information. Description of programs. 1. Practice studies: This course should be considered as a preparation for passing an official exams. For those with elementary, intermediate and advanced Russian Language knowledge. Spoken language, vocabulary, grammar, phonetics and intonation correction. Preparation for passing the official certification exams. 2. Super-intensive/intensive courses: This is a practical course, including training in the main habits of pronunciation and intonation and the foundation of Russian grammar and spoken language (for everyday personal contacts). 3. Business-course: This course is offered for those who possess elementary knowledge of Russian language. The course consists of communicative course (spoken practice) and it includes reading special texts, professional spoken language, business-correspondence, contracts and various documents, reading economic newspaper and Russian economy news. 4.Super-intensive+(plus) business-course: This course consists of two above-mentioned courses. The first part of the course takes place in a holiday hotel (at client's request); the second part will take place in Moscow (the institute), with accommodation in an apartment. 70 days of sojourn in Russia. 66 days of studies.
