ABOUT OUR SCHOOL "Russian Village" is a part of "Standard & Western" holding that is a member of American Chamber of Commerce in Russia. The "Russian Village" is also a Corporate Member of the Diplomatic Club of the Russian Foreign Ministry Diplomatic Academy. Our objective was to create a center for those who appreciate their time and money and who wish to learn Russian in a suitable environment. Our slogan is: the best progress in a short time. GENERAL METHODS OF LANGUAGE TEACHING Our language course does not adhere only to strict class hours. Staying in a Russian environment, you are exposed to the Russian language for almost 15 hours a day (if you so wish), 5 days a week (plus weekend if you order), and thus, the opportunity to active language practice is enormous. The teaching staff will correct and improve your language skills and help you to extend your vocabulary. Our school offers various intensive teaching methods depending on your level of language proficiency and the targets you want to reach. These methods are designed to remove all possible psychological barriers when communicating with Russians. All these methods have been developed and tested by leading specialists from Russia's most prestigious higher education establishments, such as the Lomonosov Moscow State University and the Pushkin State Russian Language Institute. Our school offers various teaching methods, depending on your level of language proficiency and the targets you want to reach. These methods are intensive and are expected to take down all possible psychological barriers when communicating with the Russians. All these methods have been created and tested in practice by leading specialists of the biggest Russia's higher education establishments, such as Lomonosov Moscow State University, State Pushkin Russian language Institute, Moscow Automobile-Road Institute. WEEKEND COURSES Weekend courses are aimed at those who can not stay for long-term courses at the "Russian Village". We provide intensive weekend courses for you to brush up some grammar points and develop conversational abilities. The program includes: 1. Minimum 14 hours of intensive Russian tuition, 2. Language testing for newcomers (Friday), 3. Accommodation 4. 3 meals a day Check in - every Friday after 18.00 Check out - every Sunday after 18.00 ACCOMMODATION The linguistic school "Russian Village" is located 25 km from Moscow, on the territory of specially protected natural land near the lake Pestovskoye. Our students live and study in a big and detached house built in a modern style by Swedish constructors. The mansion is very comfortable, well equipped and furnitured. We have enough quantity of bedrooms to accommodate up to 15 persons at the same time and all year round. The house is supplied with TV and video equipment, DVD, water-heating and central heating systems. The water given to the house is extracted from the artesian well and being additionally cleaned with multi-levels refine system. ON-THE-SPOT ACTIVITIES The leisure and recreation at "Russian Village" is based on the principle: "You wish - we realize". That is why we recommend you to mention the spheres of your interests in the Application form you fill in. We would be happy to organize the appropriate activity for you, so that you could find a proper company to communicate. Moreover you are offered a diverse program of indoor-outdoor activities.
