The Derzhavin Institute

The Derzhavin Institute is an educational center created with the participation of the All-Russia Pushkin Museum, the largest literary museum of Russia. The Institute is a part of the Educational Center. The Center unites the Derzhavin Museum of the Russian Literature, restoration studios, a theater, library, hotel, and the Derzhavin Institute in one place. The Derzhavin Institute is located the historical central part of St. Petersburg, in the 18th century mansion, where the "Derzhavin and Russian Literature Museum" is located. Derzhavin Institute provides short and long-term year-roun Russian Language Programmes for students from all over the world. Group sizes During the low season (September–June), the maximum size of a group is six people. During the high season (June–August), the maximum size of a group is eight people. The Russian Language Center offers various courses that cover all levels of knowledge of Russian. Certificates Every student is given a certificate attesting to the student’s success in the given course, as well as the level of knowledge of the language achieved. After finishing the academic course you are welcomed to take an official TORFL test Standard Course The Standard Course of Russian focuses on integrating all the skills of speaking, listening, reading and writing. The emphasis is on communication skills, increasing the students` vocabulary and improvement of their ability to speak Russian.
