The Language House School of English

School Founded in 1996 in the British Isles, The Language House is a Government recognised School operating all year round in the prestigious D2 district of central Dublin. Location Situated by the beautiful Grand Canal, a minute's walk from the lively shops and cafés of Baggot Street and only ten minutes' walk from St. Stephen's Green and the National Museum, the School is housed in a superb 4-storey Georgian building. The School is only a 5-minute walk from the nearest train (DART) station and the main local bus routes. Courses Our courses are based on learning practical English usage and structure. Whichever course you decide to follow, your time with your teacher in class, in the Multi-media room and in the School café will help you develop and improve your English effectively and enjoyably. Assured Advancement The best way to find out how much your English is improving is through regular assessment. Attendance, participation and testing will form the basis of your actual progress. Expectations and results will be clearly explained and your achievements will be discussed each month during one-to-one counselling with our Course Co-ordinator or Principal. Some students progress more quickly or slowly than others, but on average it takes two months to advance from one level to the next. Certificate At the end of the course you will receive The Language House Certificate, showing the level of English you have attained and giving details of the course chosen and completed. Your Certificate provides you with valuable evidence of your skills in using the English Language for personal, academic and professional purposes.
